I really like the whole idea of Wii how they have present new way of playing video games and when I was looking to buy Active Life I was searching a new way of playing wii, but it was total disaster I don’t understand how anybody can launch a game where the Mat which is the main source of interaction with the user/player is not able to respond constantly for at least 5 minutes. Very bad experience! I would suggest Amazon to remove this game from catalog worst buy for me.

The kids really hated the game – it was not challenging enough for them. Each activity seemed to last only a couple of minutes.

I was looking for something fun to do that would generate a little sweat and caloric burn for the days that I didn’t work out with wii fit plus or EA sports active. To be fair, I tried all the games. I can’t say that there was even one game that I really enjoyed. It certainly doesn’t give you a workout either. There is more time waiting between games than actual time playing the games. This was a big disappointment for me and a waste of money. I don’t even know if younger children would enjoy this. I haven’t tried outdoor challenge, but I would bet it is not much different than this.

Santa brought this for the kid’s for Christmas and they were so excited to play it that afternoon. (kids had just turned 4 & 6) Both of my children are pretty good using the Wii and they really enjoy the Wii Fit (& Plus) so I thought this would be a good game for them to get some energy out on rainy/snow days. They got very frustrated with it and wanted to put it away. It hasn’t been brought back out since Christmas day.

We told our kids that we would only buy “active” games for the Wii. I thought this game would be fun and keep our kids active. We were very disappointed. The mat slips all over the place so we had to tape it down, which sort of worked except the mat kept wanting to bunch up. The graphics are cheesy. Some of the games require you to get down on your hands and knees and bang on the mat with your hands. This hurts your hands, wrists, etc… After the first day of owning this game, my kids never went back to it. They said it “wasn’t fun”.
